I am a techie geek, foodie freak, obsessive photog, wanderlusty traveler, and a lover of all things reading and writing. Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often. Sit back with a cup of coffee or cocoa and settle in – this is your home, too!
I was born in Dodge City, Kansas in August 1992, and have called Kansas home ever since. I attended parochial school during my elementary years and received a fabulous education there. Can’t say the parochial part stuck so much, but it was a formative experience I’m fortunate to have lived. I attended Dodge City High School (Go Demons?? Sure, why not.) and recently graduated from Dodge City Community College in Spring 2013.
I am a Helpdesk Rep and Special Projects go-to person at United Telcom/United Wireless, a regional mobile carrier and telecommunications service provider. I’ve worked at United for 5 years and have learned so much during my time there.
More importantly, I am really into living. So many people just exist on this earth without really doing, well, much of anything. I want to get it out there right now that I am not one of those people! I used to be a real stick in the mud, a fun-killer who was compulsive in pretty much everything and someone who just didn’t take pleasure in anything because I was so busy chasing perfection, especially of the academic variety. Boy, am I glad I have moved on!
This blog is my place to share with the world my experiences (the good and the bad, and of course, the ugly, too), my photos, my travels, my writings, and my very soul. My mentor, Laura George, helped me see that through sharing my experiences – painful as some of them may be – I may be helping someone out there who is experiencing the same thing or needs an inspiration to make the most of his or her life.
So, without further ado, welcome. Please follow my blog so you can receive updates when I post (which will hopefully be often!) and feel free to comment and share as you wish. This is a new adventure for me, but one I am truly looking forward to sharing with you.
