I am publishing this word-for-word from my friend Jared Stremel because I feel it was worded perfectly; so thanks, Jared!!
“I am thankful for opportunities! Some fall through, some lead you on, some you don’t take, but wish you had, and some turn out perfectly! Here’s to Opportunity: that everyone has an abundance of them in their lifetime!!!! =)” #DailyThanks
It’s only a day late…
Day 4 – My Job:
I am thankful for my job. With so many out of work, I take my job for granted many days when I should be appreciative for a job that gives me lots of flexibility as a student and traveler, and some degree of an outlet for my creative/writing skills. #DailyThanks
I am thankful for music. Music is something that transcends cultural barriers, lifts us up when we are down, energizes us when we could use it, and lets some amazing people let their talents shine. Gotta love music! #DailyThanks
In addition to my parents, I am thankful to have such a (mostly) awesome family, immediate and extended! My aunts and uncles and cousins are pretty damn great, if I may say so myself. I am particularly grateful for Josh (my brother) and Sheri (his girlfriend) and their daughter, Zoe. It is such a joy and eye-opener to get to know this “lovely little lady” and see the world through her eyes and to be able to spend more time with her parents. I’m starting to tear up-ish as I write this! #DailyThanks
NaNoWriMo Word Count, Day 2: 0 change 😦
However, I did show a coworker my story so far today, and he really liked it and is looking forward to seeing more. As soon as I get some work done on my speech and get through the rest of this week, I will go back to writing that “literary masterpiece!” 🙂
For the next 24 days, I will be sharing things/people/etc. that I am thankful for. Thanks to a friend/professor for sharing this idea on Facebook!
Every single day I take hundreds of things and people for granted. This is my way of saying thanks!
I am thankful for my parents, Gene and Karen Bunker, who have provided nothing but constant support, encouragement and all the necessities for the last 19 years and counting. #DailyThanks
